William has played in international venues in Poland, Spain, Scotland and he regularly plays in Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Isle of Wight and London here in the UK. He has DJed and performed in over 150 venues in the UK last year.
He is also a music designer and producer making his own music these have included a number of commissions and his own tracks.
Influenced by the music of his Afro-Caribbean culture, he brings a unique style to a range of music genres to include RNB, Hip Hop, Deep House, House Music, Latin Music, Commercial Music and many more. Some of the common bonds of music are dynamics, texture, rhythm and pitch.
William interprets these into his music by studying people, their behaviour and so produces music to reflect this. Starting in 1999, William began DJing in clubs and festivals in Cuba, firstly focusing solely on Rap and Hip-hop. From 2006 to present William has DJed R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul music, 80-90’s and modern music throughout the UK.
William’s music is broad and varied as he plays for both underground and commercial scenes. He also supports the underground scene in London, playing in Camden Town, Kings Cross and Salsa Cuban Vibes.
He has DJed in a variety of clubs in his local area of Bournemouth such as Aruba, Le Chic, Smoking Aces, Bar Republic, Sebis Bar, Havana Bar, Orange Rooms, The Winchester, Bar SO, Old Fire Station, BIC (Bournemouth International Centre) and O2 Academy Bournemouth. William also DJs for Private Parties, Business Networking Events and Corporate Functions.
In 2012, William was awarded a Diploma in Music Production and Technology from Bournemouth and Poole College, Dorset, England.
From 2011 to 2014, William ran La Esquina Caliente on Afro*disiac’s radio station. Afro*disiac is a radio station dedicated to supporting the community, where they are keen to involve people from “all walks of life, all social backgrounds, all ages, academic, technical or practical people and from allethnic origins.”
